Liberty Temple History

The New Jersey branch of ICGC Liberty Temple initially started as a covenant family unit of the New York branch.  Between 2002 and 2004, a twelve member family met every Friday in a brother’s living room.  Our first public worship was lead by Reverend Emmanuel Owusu Kyereko, Supervising Minister of USA.

This prophetic meeting of saints was held on February 29, 2004 at the community Access Hall in Elizabeth New Jersey.  This became our home for the next 4 years.  As the Lord blessed us with more believers, we trusted him for a bigger venue, which came into fruition on October 5th, 2008 when ICGC Liberty Temple Church moved from Elizabeth to Orange, NJ which has been our place of worship for the past 6 years.

Over the years we have grown as a church with over 150 families, we have witnessed lives changed and transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Marriages have been blessed and babies have been born. Our youth ministry has grown tremendously.

We are indeed a charismatic church. We believe in the ministry of caring knowing that the power of Christ, enables us to put smiles on the faces of people, especially those in need.  Liberty Center is very blessed and highly favored to be led by Pastor Seth Kpodo and his lovely wife Mrs. Ethel Kpodo.  They are supported in ministry by three anointed associate pastors; Pastor Alex Ampiaw, Pastor John Hagan and  Pastor Joseph Allotey.
