Orange, New Jersey – Like any church celebrating an anniversary, International Central Gospel Church Liberty Temple had lots to feel good about. They planned an incredible month of celebration to mark their ten years in New Jersey.

It started with powerful praise and worship night, hosted by the Integrity Choir led by Pastor George Bioh with Guest Pastors Joe Asmah (All Natons Church) and Sylvia Blessings( Living Faith International Church)

With a banquet held at Costa Del Sol with the mayor of Orange as an invited guests, A citation was read on his behalf to the church. He thanked ICGC for their contribution to the community.

Such a celebration gives individual members the opportunity to join together in focusing on the church as a body of believers who have been blessed by the Lord. It’s an occasion for church members of all ages to tell and hear stories of the past and present days of the church.
We wanted to make our 10th anniversary a starting point for the future, both on an individual basis and as a church,” says Richard Mensah, head of the media department.
The event also saw the ordination of the Senior Pastor of the Church, Pastor Seth Kpodo, as Reverend Minister. In what was filled with joyful song ministration, emotion and prayers, leadership of the church expressed optimism about the future of the church. Two anointed men of God from the ICGC church, Rev Emmanuel Owusu Kyereko , who is in charge of ICGC churches North America and Rev Morris Appiah, Deputy General Secretary of ICGC together were also in attendance to take charge of the ordination.

Rev Owusu Kyereko recalled how the church began from a living room some 10 years ago and thanked the Lord of how far the church has come. He stated “I remember how at one point you (Pastor Seth) wanted us to bring someone from Ghana to take over the Church but through prayers you have held the fort” and God has blessed this church. He reminded Pastor Seth to be “mindful of the new responsibility of a Reverend Minister and encouraged him to continue to study the word of God in order to feed God’s flock”.
Reverend Morris Appiah, during the ordination asked the Lord to “continue to bless the church and the newly ordained Rev. Seth with great and might”. Rev Appiah maintained in his sermon that “the only source to rely on in this era of the world is God, because God never fails”. He asked all Christians to “trust the Lord and not man for absolute reliance”. They were full of praise for Pastor Seth and his wife and the leadership of the church. In responds, Rev Seth Kpodo thanked God, his wife and the leadership of the church for such a wonderful occasion.
